Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

• Account info: name, work email, and password (hashed).
• Trip info: origin, destination, dates, traveler details, passport info when required for booking.
• Payment info: processed by our payment partner (Stripe). We never see your full card number.
• Usage data: pages visited, searches run, device and browser info, IP address.
• Support messages you send to us.

2. How we use it

• To search inventory and complete bookings with airlines, hotels, and car suppliers.
• To operate the Travis AI assistant (queries sent to our LLM provider under contract).
• To send booking confirmations, disruption alerts, and account emails.
• To improve the product (aggregated, non-identifying analytics).
• To comply with legal obligations and prevent fraud.

3. Who we share it with

Only the parties needed to deliver your trip: airlines, hotel and car suppliers, our payment processor (Stripe), our email provider, our infrastructure (Supabase), our AI provider (OpenRouter / OpenAI), and — when legally required — governmental authorities. We do not sell your personal information.

4. Data retention

We retain booking records for as long as needed for accounting, tax, and dispute resolution — typically 7 years. You can request account deletion at any time; we will remove personal identifiers except where retention is legally required.

5. Your rights

Depending on where you live (GDPR, CCPA, and similar laws) you may have the right to access, correct, port, or delete your personal data, and to opt out of marketing. Email privacy@travis.travel to exercise these rights.

6. Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies for login and session management, and privacy- respecting analytics to understand product usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

7. Security

Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access is limited to staff who need it to run the service. No system is perfectly secure — if we ever have a breach affecting your data we will notify you promptly.
